Deborah Saidero

Deborah Saidero is a Canadian-Italian Lecturer of English and Translation at the University of Udine, Italy. She holds a PhD in Literatures and Cultures of the English-Speaking World from the University of Bologna. Her main research areas include feminist, gender and partnership studies; transculturalism and translingualism; contemporary Canadian writers and Native literature; migrant literatures with particular focus on the Italian and Friulian diaspora in Canada; translation studies and self-translation; English for special purposes; teaching English as a foreign language; and North-American varieties of English. She has published numerous essays and has edited some critical volumes including a collection of essays on feminist translation.
