High quality contributions will be published in a special issue of SUST - Superconductor Science and Technology after the standard peer review process.


The aim of the special issue of Superconductor Science and Technology (SUST) is to provide a single collection of specifically invited, peer-reviewed original research papers of outstanding quality that cover the core topical themes of the Conference. All invited contributions to the Special Issue will be expected to report new and original results that are unpublished elsewhere, and will be peer-reviewed in line with the usual editorial criteria for SUST.

The following two categories of people will be invited to submit an original, internationally competitive research, full paper for consideration in the SUST special issue:


(a)    Invited speakers.
(b)    Selected contributing speakers nominated by the International Organizing Comitte.


The last day for submission will be July 22, 2016. Authors invited to submit to the SUST Special Issue will be contacted individually. Regular papers published in SuST are usually 7-18 journal pages in length. If you wish to submit a longer paper, please email Papers accepted for the Special Issue will be published alongside regular papers, but will also placed on the special issue webpage.


Each paper will display a flag indicating that it belongs to the Special Issue. When the final paper is published, the Special Issue will be deemed closed and all papers will be placed on the special issue webpage. As a service to authors and to the international physics and engineering community, all papers of the special issue will be freely available online period of three months after the final paper is published.

 Papers need to be submitted electronically through the SUST submission website and select 'Special Issue Article' as the article type, then 'Focus on Numerical Modelling of High Temperature Superconductors'.
