FULLCOMP Special Session

H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions European Training Networks. FULLCOMP Special Session at ICCS20.

FULLCOMP Special Session at ICCS20, 4-7 September 2017, Paris

Following the successful FULLCOMP session at ICCS19, a session dedicated to the research activities carried out within the FULLCOMP project is organized at ICCS20. Fully integrated analysis, design, manufacturing and health monitoring of composite structures (FULLCOMP) is an H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Training Network project launched in 2015. FULLCOMP recruited 12 Ph.D. students who work in an international framework to develop integrated analysis tools to improve the design of composite structures. The full spectrum of the design of composite structures will be dealt with, such as manufacturing, health-monitoring, failure, modeling, multiscale approaches, testing, prognosis, and prognostic. The FULLCOMP research activity is aimed at many engineering fields, e.g. aeronautics, automotive, mechanical, wind energy, and space. More info: www.fullcomp.net.

The FULLCOMP consortium has nine partners, and they will present their latest research outcomes:

  • Politecnico di Torino
  • University of Bristol
  • Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Arts et Metiers
  • Leibniz Universität Hannover
  • Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology
  • ELAN-AUSY GmbH
  • Universidade do Porto
  • University of Washington
  • Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology

Organizers: Erasmo Carrera and Marco Petrolo (Polito), Paul Weaver and Alberto Pirrera (Bristol), Frederic Dau and Marco Montemurro (ENSAM), Raimund Rolfes and Eelco Jansen (LUH), Gaetano Giunta (LIST), Steffen Czichon (ELAN), Antonio Ferreira (Porto), Anthony Waas (UW), and Adrian Mouritz (RMIT).
