In 2016, a multidisciplinary team of physicists, radiologists and cardiovascular clinicians  organized, in the context of Bologna University, the I Conference on technological and clinical aspects of CO2 Angiography, with an unexpected result in term of attendance and  general interest towards the procedure. The presence of Prof. Jim Caridi, from Tulane University (New Orleans, LA, US), one of the pioneers of  carbon dioxide to iodine substitution for radiological interventional procedures, gave to the conference an important international level, qualifying it as the first conference on CO2 angiography in Europe.

On the base of this positive experience and observing a continuous grow of the clinical interest, the 2nd  Conference on the same topic has been organized, with a deeper scientific program and a larger attendance. This second conference is scheduled for 15th September 2017 in the main  Room of Bologna University Medical School ("Nuove Patologie", Pav. 5, S. Orsola Malpighi Hospital).

The participation is free but the registration is necessary for organizative aspects. ECM credits have been requested for physicians, medical physicists and radiographers.
