PRIMO Workshop 2021

The “PRIMO Workshop” offers early-career researchers working on topics within the broad research areas of imaging science, machine learning/deep learning and non linear optimization a stage to share their work and network with peers and future collaborators. 

This event is strictly related to the recently founded PRIMO (Post-graduate Researchers in Inverse problems, Machine learning, and Optimization) research group. The group, which started its activities in Summer 2020, currently counts more than 60 members from different Italian and international istitutions.  

Every young researcher in the area is strongly encouraged to register and submit an abstract for a presentation. The registration is free of charge (but mandatory) and includes lunches and coffee breaks. 

You can already register and indicate your will to present a talk. Abstract submission is now open. Title and abstract of the talk can be sent to the PRIMO mail (primo.math.group@gmail.com). The deadline for the abstract submission is September 13, 2021. 

Dates and Venue

The workshop will take place on 11-13 October 2021 at the Department of Mathematics in Bologna. We hope to have it as a complete face-to-face event. However, due to the ever-changing circumstances, we are open to the possibility of having it as an hybrid event. The number of live participants is limited (to approximately 30 people).
