VENUE AND ACCOMODATION

The conference will take place in the medieval town of Bertinoro. The castle and the adjacent seminary are now held by the University of Bologna and have been transformed into a venue for conferences and courses: CEUB (CEntro residenziale Universitario di Bertinoro - Bertinoro residential university center).

A number of rooms will be reserved for the conference attendees: a special price has been offered by the management (please mention, when reserving, that you are attending ICTT).       

Single room accomodation: 60 €/day *; Double room accomodation: 50 €/day *                     

*Costs are per person and include breakfast and lunch       

The center has almost 100 rooms and has agreements with the nearby hotels if more rooms are needed.

GETTING TO BERTINORO

By car: take the Bologna-Ancona motorway, exit at Cesena Nord, follow to Forlimpopoli, then to Bertinoro. Free parking at CEUB.

By train: from Bologna travel to Forlì (Bologna-Ancona railway line), trains to Forlì are approximately hourly, the ride is approx. 45 min; from Forlì take a taxi to Bertinoro (15 min). For train schedules see www.trenitalia.it

By air: Bologna international airport (BLQ) is located 90 km from Bertinoro. Once arrived you can reach the railway station by the fast shuttle (named "Marconi Express"): departing 8 times per hour, the ride to the station lasts approximately 7 minutes: https://www.marconiexpress.it/en/

[If enough participant are interested (groups of ca. 20), a bus service between the airport and Bertinoro might be organized, at the likely cost of between 20 and 30 € per person (one way) on the arrival and departure dates (Sun 10 from Bologna Airoport to Bertinoro; Sat 16 from Bertinoro to Bologna Airport). In both dates, there might be several minibuses departing at different times to accommodate different arrivals/departures.] UPDATE: practically no interest emerged for the bus transfer, so this option was canceled

If flying into Rimini airport, take a Taxi: it will only take a half hour to Bertinoro.
