Venue - How to Get There
The conference venue will be at Rimini Campus, Complesso Alberti - Via Quintino Sella 13, within a few minutes walking distance from the train station.
Rimini is located in a strategic position that can be reached from south and north of Italy by train or by car. The city airport and the Bologna airport allow one to get to Rimini easily from abroad.
The Bologna International "Guglielmo Marconi" airport (BLQ) is approximately 100 km away from Rimini. From there, one can go to the Bologna train station, by taking a taxi (directly outside Arrivals) or using the Marconi Express train (7-minutes ride) and then take a train to Rimini. Alternatively, direct shuttle buses to Rimini are also available. Rimini has also a small but well-connected airport which may be useful to check while planning the journey.
The rail network is very well connected with high speed trains from Bologna (1h), Milan (2h), and Rome (4h). Both Trenitalia and Italo Treno connect Rimini with the main transport nodes.
Rimini is also connected by motorway to Bologna through the A14 and the two main exits are Rimini Nord and Rimini Sud. Parking is not allowed in the city center, but there are parking areas just outside.
