The paper "Photocatalytic hydroxyapatite-titania nanocomposites for preventive conservation of marble", presented orally at the "Heri-Tech" conference (Florence, IT, 16-18 May 2018), was awarded the Best Paper Award in the Materials Science section.
The paper "Consolidation of sugaring marble by hydroxyapatite: some recent developments on producing and treating decayed samples", presented at the "13th International Congress on Deterioration and Conservation of Stone" (Paisley, UK, 6-10 September 2016), was awarded the 1st prize for the Best Poster.
